How It Started

"Committed to helping others feel beautiful"
La'Quila Fields, a certified state vendor, was born and raised in Detroit. She is committed to making others feel beautiful and helping her community. After attending Phlebotomy Express to become a Phlebotomist and Lab Tech, she became inspired to become a business owner. Her career path enabled her to fund Prodigy Hands Custom Wigs in 2021. Being a mom of three, she wanted to create a legacy for her children.

"It would make a difference in my community—helping individuals affected by alopecia, burns, mental health, psoriasis on the scalp, lupus, arthritis, and cancer to feel beautiful inside and out." says LaQuila.
Having the ability to create wigs was a start, and La'Quila began to craft wigs for children and adults. She is motivated to continue expanding Prodigy Hands Custom Wigs with custom wigs, products, and accessories that help build self-esteem and confidence.

A Message To My Viewers...
"If you have a vision or a dream, put in the works to get it done. Don't stop! Sitting down is a waste of time. If you want to start a business, start a business. If you want to buy a house, buy the house. Do you want to buy a car? Then buy a car. The key to success is that you have to keep moving towards your vision and ideas to be who you want to be. Shoot your shot and keep going until you make it. I promise at the end it’ll all be worth it. - Quay
